There was more in the instructions about registering the thing than there was about programming it or using it. That said I suppose it really didn't take me too long to figure out the controls, which is off course one of the reasons this gets a 5-star rating. I get the feeling though that I probably haven't figured out all of the things strengths and capabilities, and I don't appreciate having to do all the work myself - Garmin made it, I'm pretty sure they could have given a better guide so that you could get more out of it straight from the box!
